The Tollund Man, -2400y

The Tollund man is a “bog body” discovered in 1950, in an exceptional state of conservation.
He was found at the bottom of a bog from the iron age near Silkeborg and probably hanged (a rope was still attached to his neck).
The skull was asymmetrical due to advanced decalcification and the weight of the bog, we had to center it. We resized the skull up by +10% because the interorbital distance was too small for adult eyeballs. It confirmed the skull had shrunk during the time in the bog.
