Woman of Dully, 5th century

The skull shows a voluntary deformation, a cultural practice, visible on the frontal bone as a concave form, and elongated parietal and occipital bones.

This particularly shaped skull was found in the swiss village of Dully and has an Asiatic type ethnic origen,

and dates from the 5th century. The woman was probably a slave.

The reconstruction was created in CGI but also in a physical plaster bust.
